Park rediscovers game after lengthy slump

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Grace Park was swarmed by the media at a major championship for the first time in years Saturday at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. The 2004 KNC champion says she hit “rock bottom” in her career.

While finding the bottom of Poppie’s Pond tomorrow might be a stretch for Park, who is seven strokes behind leader Karen Stupples at 3-under 213, she has every reason to beam that trademark smile.

“You know, I’ve always been a great player,” she said. “It never went (away). I just lost it for a little bit, but I believe I can get it back.”

Fans around the world hope that’s true.
