I have exciting news, but also sad news to report today, college golf fans. The best week in women’s golf – the NCAA Women’s Championship – begins May 18, but it also signifies the final event of their year.
I’m going to make it exciting for everyone: The Wildman Challenge for the Women’s Championship.
Submit one team, with total team score, you think will win the national championship. We are going to play “Price is Right rules,” which means closest to the team score without going over.
You can either e-mail your pick and score to me, or leave it in the comment box below.
The winner’s prize is great for anyone’s personal memorabilia collection. Whoever correctly picks the winning team and the closest score will receive an autographed Arizona Wildcats shirt signed by Annika Sorenstam! You’ll also get a cool Golfweek cap as well.
Start drooling now.
Here’s some more information: The championship will be played at the par-72, 6,368-yard Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
