Another tough Ryder Cup for Mickelson

NEWPORT, Wales – Phil Mickelson won his singles match against Peter Hanson, but in all, it was another tough week for Mickelson at the Ryder Cup. He went 1-3-0 to run his Ryder Cup record to 11-17-6.

Mickelson surpassed Billy Casper’s record for most Ryder Cup losses by an American, and Mickelson still has a handful of Ryder Cups to play. Mickelson has now played four Ryder Cups apiece in the States and overseas. He’s 4-10-4 overseas and 7-7-2 in the States. Mickelson is 3-12-3 in the past four Ryder Cups.
