Former club pros found dead in Louisville

Two former club professionals have been found dead in Louisville, Ky., and the cause of death is under investigation, according to Louisville media reports.

Casey Combs, 48, and Kenneth Postlewait, 52, were found dead Saturday in Postlewait’s apartment in east Louisville, according to website reports by television stations WHAS and WLKY.

Louisville Metro Police are investigating the deaths but do no believe that a crime had been committed. Police say there were no signs of foul play or trauma. The coroner says a cause of death is pending autopsy results, and that could take up to three weeks.

Combs, the 2006 Kentucky State Amateur champion, had been the club pro at Wildwood Country Club, and Postlewait, the 1999 Kentucky PGA Match Play champion, later held the post, according to WLKY. Postlewait is a former member of the Auburn University men’s golf team.
