Voetsch (No. 137, 2012) commits to Vanderbilt

John Voetsch of New Vernon, N.J., has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at Vanderbilt. Voetsch is ranked No. 137 in the 2012 class and will be a senior next fall at the Delbarton School.

Voetsch made unofficial visits to Vanderbilt, Virginia and Arizona.

“I chose Vanderbilt because they had everything that I wanted in a school,” Voetsch said. “The coaches are great, the facilities are amazing, the campus is awesome, it is a great academic school and the team members are talented and great guys. I’m really looking forward to being a Commodore.”

Voetsch recently finished T-29 at the Junior Jones Cup Invitational and T-35 at the Sea Pines Junior Heritage.
