Ariya Jutanugarn, of Bangkok, Thailand, shot 17-under 271 (67-68-69-67) at Sombery Golf Club in Byron, Minn., to win the Rolex Girls Junior Championship by four shots.
It’s the first AJGA title for the 15-year-old Jutanugarn, who also won low amateur honors at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the LPGA’s first major of the season. Jutanugarn set an AJGA scoring record for lowest 72-hole score in a girls’ championship with her 17-under total. She is No. 2 in Golfweek’s Junior Rankings.
