Ryder Cup: Saturday four-ball matches at Medinah

MEDINAH, Ill. — Tiger Woods will return to the course this afternoon at the Ryder Cup, still paired with Steve Stricker and they will face Sergio Garcia and Luke Donald.

The hot duo of Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley will sit the afternoon four-ball session out (they are 3-0 at Medinah), while the Europeans will rest Lee Westwood for the first time. Peter Hanson will sit out both Saturday sessions.

Dustin Johnson-Matt Kuchar vs. Nicolas Colsaerts-Paul Lawrie

Johnson and Kuchar won their lone match on Friday, 3 and 2, while Colsaerts was 10 under on his ball in Friday’s four-ball session. Lawrie lost in his only match thus far, a 5-and-4 drubbing at the hands of Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson.

Bubba Watson-Webb Simpson vs. Justin Rose-Francesco Molinari

Watson-Simpson are 1-1, losing on Saturday to Ian Poulter and Justin Rose, 1 up, and winning on Friday against Lawrie and Hanson, 5 and 4.

Tiger Woods-Steve Stricker vs. Sergio Garcia-Luke Donald

Tiger and Stricker were 0-2 on Day 1, while Garcia and Donald are both 0-2 as well, losing once on both days.

Jason Dufner-Zach Johnson vs. Rory McIlroy-Ian Poulter

Dufner and Johnson won their match on Friday, while McIlroy was 1-1 on Friday. Poulter is 2-0 over the two days.
