Alabama cruised to its fifth victory of the season, lapping the field by 18 shots at the Aggie Invitational at the par-72 Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
The Tide took the top three spots on the individual leaderboard, with Cory Whitsett clearing teammate Bobby Wyatt by one stroke at 8 under for the 54 holes. Scott Strohmeyer was third at 6 under.
Kent State finished in second on the team side, mostly due to Corey Conners’ performance, finishing T-4 at 5 under with Washington’s Chris Williams.
Washington was third as a team, while Arkansas was fourth. Texas A&M and UCLA finished T-5.
