Oklahoma State won the Big 12 Championship on Sunday after placing four players inside the top 10 spots on the individual leaderboard.
The Cowgirls, No. 17 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, finished two shots ahead of second-round leader Baylor, No. 24. Oklahoma State finished the tournament with an 11-over 299 at The Harvester in Rhodes, Iowa. It was three better than Baylor’s final-round score. Oklahoma State finished 54 holes at 41-over 905.
It’s the first conference title for Oklahoma State since 2009, and the team’s eighth overall. The Cowgirls also won the Big 12 title when the conference championship was played at The Harvester in 2001.
Kelsey Vines, No. 3 in Golfweek’s rankings, was the low Cowgirl with her T-5 finish. Julie Yang and Jayde Panos tied for seventh, and Josephine Janson was T-10.
Baylor freshman Lauren Taylor won the individual title with a 3-under 213 total.
Iowa State finished five shots behind Baylor for solo third, and Oklahoma was fourth at 64-over 928.
