Eli Cole, a recent graduate of TCU, won the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship by a single shot over Kent State teammates Taylor Pendrith and Corey Conners.

Cole shot rounds of 71-66-69-70 for a 6-under 276 total on Royal Colwood GC and the companion course, Gorge Vale GC. Cole, a native of Beverly Hill, Calif., earns an exemption into the 2013 U.S. Amateur at The Country Club and the PGA Tour’s RBC Canadian Open in 2014.

Pendrith, the 2013 Porter Cup champion and native of Richmond, Ontario, shot 69-71-69-68, while Conners from Listowel, Ontario, shot 66-70-70-71 for a 5 under total.
