The UCLA women opened its fall season with a runaway victory in Tennessee, winning the Mason Rudolph Championship by 20 shots over Arizona State on Sunday. The Bruins posted a final-round 11-under 277 at Vanderbilt Legends Club that was 14 shots better than the next-best final-round score.

UCLA’s final round ties a school record set in 2008 and its 14-under 850 total earned the Bruins a fourth victory at the Mason Rudolph and marked head coach Carrie Forsyth’s 50th team victory at the school.

UCLA, No. 3 in Golfweek’s preseason rankings, counted final rounds of 4-under 68 from junior Erynne Lee and freshman Alison Lee. Erynne Lee won the individual title with a 7-under 209 (73-68-68), one shot ahead of Alison Lee at 210 (72-70-68).

The Bruins trailed Arizona State by four shots after Round 1, but led at the 36-hole mark. The Sun Devils finished second at 6-over 870, followed by Vanderbilt and Duke in a tie for third at 12-over 876. Alabama, Golfweek’s preseason No. 2 team, finished eighth (895).
