Ryan Moore and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano moved just outside the top 30 in the latest Official World Golf Ranking following victories Sunday.
Moore, who won the CIMB Classic in a playoff over Gary Woodland, jumped from No. 45 to No. 31. It’s the highest ranking of Moore’s career. Woodland, who won the Reno-Tahoe Open last season, improved 27 spots to No. 53.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who finished T-3 in Malaysia, moved to 66th, up 18 spots from two weeks ago.
Fernandez-Castano went from No. 60 two weeks ago to No. 32 after his victory at the BMW Masters. It’s his best world ranking since he was 31st following a T-44 showing at the Spain Open.
