A par at the 18th wrapped up a Sunday 74 and a one-shot win for Kevin Kisner in the Pebble Beach Invitational.
Entering the final round with a two-stroke lead, Kisner finished at 13 under – thanks to a 15-footer for par – for the $60,000 first prize. The former University of Georgia golfer held off a charge from Georgia Tech product Chesson Hadley, whose 70 distanced him from the rest of the field. Finishing T-3 another four shots back were Scott Langley and William McGirt.
Kisner posted on Twitter after his round on his account, @K_Kisner: “Big thanks to @CallawayGolf and @PebbleBeachCo for an awesome week and event! Good times battling with @chadleyprogolf he is a baller”
Kisner finished T-20 at the PGA Tour’s McGladrey Classic earlier this month and has $107,567 in official Tour earnings this season. He won the 2013 Chile Classic en route to $238,491 in Web.com Tour earnings for the 2013 season.
Mina Harigae was the low LPGA player in the event, finishing with 71 for an 7-under week alongside Sam Saunders and Mark Brooks.
Another shot back were the low Champions Tour players in the 80-golfer field, Tommy Armour III and Kirk Triplett. The pro-am event featured 80 players from the PGA, LPGA, Champions and Web.com tours.
