Tech golfer Tyler Turnbow dunks at basketball game

The boy has hops!

Texas Tech golfer Tyson Turnbow took to the basketball court during halftime of the Tech game against Baylor on Jan. 15 to show that golfers can actually dunk.

Turnbow, a junior, takes a running start and gets some height as he slams it home.

The only other known golfer to show off his basketball ‘dunking’ skills is Dustin Johnson.

Texas Tech best finish this fall was at the Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach with a third-place finish.

The Red Raiders open their spring season Feb. 6-8 at the Ameri Air Waikoloa Beach Resort Invitational in Kona Hawaii.
