Lunde grabs lead in Colombia; Thomas tied for 2nd

Inclement weather halted play for a second straight day at the Tour season opener in Bogota, Colombia. But Bill Lunde was able to finish his second round Friday and he leads the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship by a shot.

Lunde’s second-round 3-under 68 at Bogota Country Club has him at 8 under overall. Justin Thomas and Jonathan Randolph are tied for second at 7 under, but both still have holes to play in their second rounds.

The second round will resume Saturday at 7:30 a.m. local time.

Thomas, a former standout at Alabama, isn’t the only notable rookie in the top 10. Former Cal player Michael Kim is tied for fifth at 5 under and former Florida State player Daniel Berge is tied for ninth at 4 under. Both have second-round holes left, too.
