Cejka's 63 wins shortened Web.com opener

With rain taking center stage this weekend, the Web.com Tour-season-opening Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship Presented by Claro was shortened to 54 holes – which gave Alex Cejka the win thanks to a third-round 63 on Sunday.

Cejka had just one bogey during his 63 against nine birdies – including three pair of back-to-back birdies – to finish three shots clear of Andrew D. Putnam and four ahead of Carlos Ortiz.

Earning his first Web.com Tour win, Cejka had finished T-56 at the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am last week.

Bill Lunde finished fourth at 9 under; another shot back at T-5 were Sam Saunders, Justin Thomas and Chris Wilson.

The Web.com Tour heads to the Chile Classic on March 6-9 at Prince of Wales CC in Santiago.
