Winthrop entered Monday’s final round of the Colleton River Collegiate one shot back of first-day lead Kennesaw State.

But the Eagles carded a 6-over 294 while the Owls shot 296, resulting in a one-shot victory for Winthrop at Colleton River’s Dye Course in Bluffton, S.C. The Eagles finished at 10-over 874

Winthrop’s Zach Seabolt shared medalist honors with Michigan State’s Charlie Netzel at 1-under 215. Seabolt was one of four Winthrop players who finished T-13 or better.
