Tiger Woods plans to play the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral beginning Thursday, according to ESPN’s Bob Harig.

“He wouldn’t be coming down here if he didn’t intend to compete at the highest level,” Steinberg said. “He intends to play and wants to play well.”

Woods withdrew from the final round of the Honda Classic on Sunday after 13 holes in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., when he experienced back spasms. When he withdrew, he was 5 over for his round.
