In January, New Balance announced the launch of New Balance Golf, a footwear collection for 2014.

The Amesbury, Mass.-based company introduced the new NBG2002, an athletic design, and performance cleated.

The shoe weighs 11.9 ounces and has a REVlite midsole to provide cushioning sensory feedback and stability. There is also a removable Ortholite insole that includes a moisture-wicking antimicrobial fabric treatment to reduce odor for a cool, dry fit. The new Champ Zarma ONE-Lok cleat system is designed for the golfer’s stability, flexibility and traction in all conditions.

“It is a lightweight, flexible, athletic design for lightweight cushioning and premium responsiveness. The new Champ Zarma ONE-Lok cleat system will give golfers the comfort and fit that New Balance is known for,” said Carey Langley, New Balance Golf’s product director.

The golf shoe is available in three colors (grey with yellow accents, black with red accents and white with royal blue) Sizes 8-16 with widths of D and 4E (select styles) are available. Cost: $124.95
