A couple of top 10 teams headline a field that will play at the Avenue Spring Break Classic at the Kapalua Bay Course in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, Monday through Wednesday. Pepperdine and Washington come in as the top-ranked teams to play the par-72, 6,036-yard course, according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.
The field includes Cal Poly, Colorado, Fresno State, Hawaii, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon State, Pepperdine (No. 8), San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle, UC Davis (No. 40), UC Riverside and Washington (No. 7).
Washington finished as the runner up at the tournament last year, finishing four strokes behind UCLA. But Pepperdine got a piece of the action as well with Grace Na, who is now a senior, took home medalist honors.
