Masters Sunday: Our staff predictions

We have a big crew on the grounds of Augusta National on Sunday and they’ve taken in a lot of golf this week, including many of the players within four shots of the lead.

Here are their picks on whom will win a green jacket on Sunday evening:

• • •

Jeff Babineau, Editor

Matt Kuchar: He was my guy at the start of the week, and I cannot bail on him now. Cue the crowd: Koooooooch!

• • •

Jim McCabe, Senior writer

Rickie Fowler: Green has never gone so well with orange.

• • •

James Achenbach, Senior writer

Adam Scott: The Aussie shoots 64, comes from six back to win the Masters.

• • •

Jeff Rude, Senior writer

Matt Kuchar: He’s in the best form of his life. He had last-nine leads the past two weeks and he’s back here again.

• • •

Alex Miceli, Senior writer

Bubba Watson: Been there and done that. His bad round is behind him.

• • •

Beth Ann Nichols, Senior writer

Jordan Spieth: Feels like a good day to watch a little history.

• • •

Adam Schupak, Senior writer

Matt Kuchar: He was my pre-tournament pick and I’m sticking with him. Kuchar can scramble with the best of them (T-15 or better since 2007 in that stat category) and that will make all the difference on a fast and firm Augusta on Sunday.

• • •

Nick Masuda, Digital director

Rickie Fowler: I still don’t think people are taking him seriously, and they should – he’s hitting it beautifully and is feeling very confident with his putter.
