Wichita State won its first Missouri Valley Conference women’s title Tuesday at Panther Creek Golf Course in Springfield, Ill.
The Shockers finished at 36-over 900, one shot better than runner-up Indiana State. The victory was also just the third team title for the program while Wichita State also broke the 54-hole school record.
Individually, Bradley’s Danielle Lemek won by seven shots at 4-under 212. Wichita State’s Alejandra Arellano and Indiana State’s Amanda Smith tied for second at 3-over 219.
