Schniederjans, Ga. Tech take lead at ACC Championship

All five of its players shot par or better as Georgia Tech took a two-shot lead over Florida State after 36 holes at the ACC Championship.

The Yellow Jackets fired a 10-under 278 on Saturday at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C., leapfrogging 18-hole leader Florida State.

The Seminoles posted a 4-under 284 to sit in second, while Clemson is third behind a Saturday 7-under 281. The Tigers are four shots off the lead entering the final 18 holes on Sunday.

Georgia Tech junior Ollie Schniederjans stayed out front in the individual race behind a 2-under 70 and is three shots clear of Wake Forest’s Clancy Waugh, who fired a 5-under 67, the best round of the day.
