Watson, wife plan to adopt second child

PINEHURST, N.C. – Bubba Watson added a second green jacket last April; now he and his wife Angie are in the process of adding another child to the Watson clan.

Watson, 35, confirmed he and his wife, Angie. have started the laborious process of adopting another child.

According to Watson, the process will be the same as it was for their 2-year-old son, Caleb, who was adopted 13 days before Watson won his first Masters, in 2012.

The process will require a tremendous amount of paperwork, which they are in the process of completing; a home visit and then a long wait until a baby becomes available.

Watson kidded that some of this seemed to be overkill because they already went through the process with Caleb, but he is not expecting the adoption to be completed until next year, about the time of the Masters in April.
