A closing-round 68 carried Marc Warren to the Made In Denmark title Sunday on European Tour, two strokes clear of third-round co-leader Bradley Dredge.
With five birdies against two bogeys, one of which came at the 18th hole, Warren earned his first tour win since 2007.
Warren fired a 3-under 68 on Sunday, making three birdies on his first eight holes, shooting the lowest round on the day for any player in the top five.
“It feels incredible,” Warren told the Associated Press. “Today I kept telling myself I was swinging the club really well and I was confident in what I was doing.”
Dredge shot a 1-under 70 on Sunday, finishing at 7 under for the tournament. Phillip Archer finished in sole possession of third after carding a 2-under 69 Sunday and finishing at 4 under.
Denmark native Thomas Bjorn finished in a tie for fourth with two other golfers. Bjorn returned to earn a top five where he won his first professional event in 1995.
