The Illinois Fighting Illini took their second team championship in as many events this season, dominating the Wolf Run Intercollegiate at Wolf Run Golf Club in Zionsville, Ind.
Illinois placed three golfers in the top 5, winning the team title by 30 strokes over runner-up Florida.
The Illini finished at 7-over 859 at the par-71, 7,155-yard course. Senior Brian Campbell took medalist honors by three strokes over teammate Charlie Danielson. The two Illinois upperclassmen were the only competitors to finish under par. Illinois junior Thomas Detry tied for fourth at 5 over. Five fighting Illini placed in the top 20, including freshmen Nick Hardy and Dylan Meyer, who were competing in their second collegiate event.
Houston finished third at 47 over, Chattanooga placed fourth at 53 over and William and Mary and Penn State tied for fifth at 54 over.
