Suzann Pettersen stayed bogey-free and consistent at the Manulife LPGA Classic, taking the 54-hole lead with a third-round 66.
Pettersen, 34, went without a bogey for the third straight day at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Ontario, Canada, after opening with three straight birdies. Pettersen finished her round with four birdies and an eagle as she chases her 15th LPGA victory and the first since 2013.
“Yeah, there’s a lot of people in the hunt for this and the course is playing great,” Pettersen told LPGA.com. “I think it’s fun for the fans to see us shooting low scores and I’m excited to go back out there tomorrow and fight it to the very end.”
The Norwegian is at 19 under for the week, one shot ahead of Mariajo Uribe, who shot a 67 for her third straight round in the 60s Saturday. Cristie Kerr, 37, is two shots back at 17 under as she plays for her 18th LPGA title.
