On June 30, adidas Golf released limited-edition camouflaged-print versions of four of its footwear models.
A total of 2,000 pairs will be available worldwide on adidasgolf.com and select retailers, each individually numbered: 500 of the adipower boost ($190), 500 of the tour360 x boa ($180) and 500 each of the men’s and womens models of the adipower boost sport ($150). Adidas will also send the limited-edition shoes to some of its Tour players, including Boo Weekley.
“We wanted to bring in some new, fresh concepts,” said Masun Denison, adidas Golf’s director of global product marketing for footwear. “Doing more limited-edition releases is a way to offer something unique to the marketplace. … There’s a lot of people where camouflage means something to them. This is a fun way to play with a new color on a shoe.”
