Branden Grace shot a 5-under 66 in the final round at the RBC Heritage to capture his first PGA Tour win by two strokes over Luke Donald and Russell Knox.

Grace, a seven-time winner on the European Tour, got off to a hot start and birdie four of his first six holes to jump up into a share of the lead.

Before this week, Grace’s best finish on the PGA Tour was at the 2015 PGA Championship, where he finished third.

Luke Donald on the other hand continued to be the RBC Heritage’s consummate bridesmaid. For the third time in his career, Donald held the 54-hole lead here and for the third time he finish in second. The Englishman hasn’t closed out a 54-hole lead in more than 10 years.

Knox shot a 4-under 67 to share second, his third top-two of the season.

Jason Kokrak captured fourth at 6 under overall, while Kevin Na and Bryson DeChambeau finished joint fifth.

DeChambeau, making his pro debut, had the best finish in his debut of any player who won both the U.S. Amateur and NCAA Championship. None of the four former players who won both events, Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Ryan Moore, finished better than 50th in their pro debuts.

Jason Day rebounded from a third-round 79 to shoot a 3-under 68 and salvage a T-23.
