Golfers can now buy the Galvin Green rain gear worn by the European Ryder Cup team

Galvin Green was the official outerwear provider for the 2016 European Ryder Cup team and again will supply rain gear to Team Europe for the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris.

On Wednesday, Galvin Green released that outerwear to the public. The C-Knit Backer line of rain jackets and pants offer exceptional breathability, a soft hand feel and full waterproofness. The gear is made with an ultralight, three-layer stretch Gore-Tex fabric with the C-Knit backer.

“C-Knit Backer represents the next generation of golf rainwear and another ‘first’ for Galvin Green as the pioneering brand in the waterproofs sector,” said Christian Nilsson, CEO/managing director of Galvin Green. “A revolutionary fabric technology has been integrated into garments designed for golfers by golfers to offer maximum protection from the elements, while being amazingly lightweight and stylish at the same time.”

Highlights of the collection include:

Argon full-zip jacket: A premium waterproof full-zip jacket in ultra-lightweight stretch Gore-Tex fabric with C-knit backer. Its complex three-layer construction makes it highly breathable as well as durable. Innovative rubberized collar and shaped cuffs with a zip to tighten at the wrist. Three available colors, including Deep Ocean blue.

Aldrin half-zip jacket: The half-zip version of premium waterproof jacket in lightweight stretch Gore-Tex fabric with C-Knit backer. Waterproof, breathable and easy to pack. Adjustable chest and waist to maximize performance.

Arn pant: The trousers come with elasticated waist with drawstring at the back, plus zip fly opening and zipped front pockets. Two covered back pockets. Long-leg openings zipped with water-repellent zips at the back, not the side.
