It looks like short-game magic runs in the family.

Bubba Watson boasts one of Augusta National’s most famous shots, a boomerang hook of a wedge shot to No. 10 green during a playoff at the 2012 Masters. The miraculous shot from the trees to some 10 feet secured Watson his first green jacket.

The left-hander also has a penchant for posting videos of his exploits in practice, as he did last month by putting up footage of a shot he holed that took forever to drop.

But his son is quickly catching up. The elder Watson posted a video Wednesday evening of his son Caleb on a mini-golf course.

Just enjoying some father-son time, but this is Bubba we’re talking about. Yes they had fun, but on one hole, Caleb produced the mini-golf shot of the day, maybe the year.

The younger Watson lined up his putt on one of the holes and hit a wild one. But the result was spectacular.

Considering Caleb’s father has never been conventional in golf, it’s pretty fitting the son got a mini-golf hole-in-one this way.

If you’re looking for proof that short-game prowess is passed down in family, well here’s some nice evidence.
