Fowler lurks near lead as darkness suspends play at OHL Classic

The 2017-18 PGA Tour schedule made a brief return to the United States but is already back abroad, as this week’s action takes place in Mexico. The field is set to take on El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa Del Carmen at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

OHL Classic at Mayakoba Tracker

Update No. 5 (6:30 p.m.) – Patton Kizzire will be the clubhouse leader when play resumes Saturday morning. He finished his second round Friday at 10-under. He is one shot ahead of Brian Gay and Brandon Harkins. Play ended as Patrick Rodgers and Rickie Fowler finished 15. Rodgers is the overall leader at 11-under, one shot ahead of Fowler.

Update No. 5 (6:20 p.m.) – Play is suspended in the second round as due to darkness and will resume Saturday at 7:30 a.m. Eastern.

Update: No. 4 (6 p.m.) – Rickie Fowler, Patrick Rogers and Patton Kizzire stand at 10-under.

Update No. 3 (4 p.m.) – Play was expected to resume at this hour but more rain has pushed back the projected starting time. Patton Kizzire is also at 9-under through 9 holes while Rickie Fowler is one back at 8-under through six.

Update No. 2 (3:05 p.m.) – The weather delay will last until at least 4 p.m.

Update No. 1 (2:05 p.m.) – Bad weather has forced a suspension of play in today’s second round. Brian Gay and Brandon Haskins share the lead among those who have completed the second round with a 9-under 133.
