Tour Edge begins building tour staff
GOLFWEEK STAFF

Tour Edge Golf has signed LPGA player Stacy Prammanasudh to an endorsement contract, marking the company’s initial efforts to begin building a tour staff.

According to the company officials, Tour Edge, based in Batavia, Ill., plans to assemble a small advisory staff across the PGA, LPGA and Nationwide tours. On any given week, they say, upwards of nearly 10 touring pros already play Tour Edge Exotics fairway woods.

Prammanasudh, a two-time winner on the LPGA since joining the tour in 2003, is using  Exotics 5-PW EX-1 irons and Exotics CB2 #3 and #5 woods. She also is carrying a Tour Edge bag.

Prammanasudh is the first LPGA player Tour Edge has signed to an endorsement contract.

In a written statement, Jay Hubbard, Tour Edge’s vice president of marketing, said Prammanasudh’s “constant presence on the LPGA’s leaderboard will give Tour Edge the additional exposure our company is seeking with consumers.”
