USC notched the only under-par round of the day, using a 5-under 279 to take a 14-shot lead after the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge Monday at Palos Verdes Golf Club.
Baylor, No. 60 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, fired a 2-over 286 to take a two-shot lead over second-ranked USC at the par-71 Palos Verdes GC in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.
The top four teams in the country, including UCLA and USC, face off at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
