Rotz takes Cardinal Am by three
Clayton Rotz was the only player to go in the red at the Cardinal Amateur, and it got him the victory.
Rotz, of Chambersburg, Pa., built an early lead with a first-round 64, following with a 69 in Round 2. It gave him a cushion to fall back to a 75 for Round 3 and still come out comfortably on top.
Rotz is a rising junior at LSU.
Drew Younts of Stokesdale, N.C., finished second alone at 1-over 211 and seven others tied for third at 3-over 214.
