Solid Shots:

You don’t need a major championship trophy above your head to win best look of the week, however, it can’t hurt! Y.E. Yang wore his all white outfit better than most on Sunday and while the trophy may have put him on our fashion radar, we probably should have noted his wardrobe choices sooner.

Yang usually makes some colorful statements on the course and has definitely been a fun and well-dressed player for quite some time. Congrats again Yang – what a victory!

Alvaro Quiros from Spain was another hit on the fashion side of the fairways this week. He was decked out in white belts and matching shoes, fitted Lacoste shirts but mixed up the look by opting for a visor instead of his usual straw hat, pretty classic.

Brendan Jones of Australia watches his tee shot on the 12th hole during the final round of the 91st PGA Championship.

Shanks:

At 13-over par for the tournament, it’d be nice to leave this guy alone, but Phil Mickelson made a fashion blunder just too goofy to ignore.

His look was almost perfect, but the black socks with almost all white ensemble stuck out like a sore thumb and is definitely something that you should NOT try at home.

The other fashion choice that was impossible to overlook this weekend was made by Brendan Jones. I think this picture says it all, however for those who disagree and didn’t mind the ensemble, let your voices be heard!

There is always the possibility that this metallic look is the new thing and Jones is just ahead of the fashion curve (or at least my fashion curve).
