Paul Goydos, comedian
JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The dry wit and wisdom of Paul Goydos struck again in the media center. You may recall the time Goydos was leading the 2008 Players Championship and NBC’s Bob Costas asked him how he slept last night?
“On my back,” Goydos deadpanned.
Well, he added a new chapter and verse to his media center lore on Saturday night at The Barclays.
“…With Tiger on your back, do you find yourself looking over your shoulder tomorrow?” asked ESPN.com’s Jason Sobel.
“First of all, (Tiger’s) going to be in front of me, not behind me,” Goydos said. “So I’ll be looking straight ahead.”
Laughter ensued.
