Player of the Week: Byeong-Hun An
Byeong-Hun An became the youngest player to win a U.S. Amateur title.
Byeong-Hun “Ben” An, of Bradenton, Fla., won the U.S. Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. He beat Ben Martin, 7 and 5, in the final match to take the victory.
An, 17, who is the youngest player to ever win the tournament, is ranked No. 34 in the Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings. He also finished T-2 at the Rolex Tournament of Champions in July. An has verbally committed to Cal for 2010.
