Sky TV to air Woods interview about family
WELLINGTON, New Zealand – New Zealand sports broadcaster Sky TV will air on Tuesday an eight-minute interview with Tiger Woods shot last month in which he talks about the importance of his family.
In a 30-second trailer, interviewer Murray Deaker asks Woods, “Family first and golf second. Always be like that?” Woods replies, “Always.”
The interview, done last month in Melbourne where Woods won the Australian Masters, was arranged by Woods’ New Zealand caddie Steve Williams.
Sky originally intended to show the interview on Christmas Day.
On Friday, Woods announced he’s taking an indefinite leave from golf to try to save his marriage, the biggest fallout yet from two shocking weeks of allegations of rampant extramarital affairs.
