Jane Rah leaves OSU after one semester
Jane Rah has decided to leave Oklahoma State after one semester. Her departure will leave a huge hole in coach Annie Young’s youthful lineup. Rah cited communication issues with OSU staff as a large part of her decision to leave Stillwater, Okla.
“I’ve had a lot of stuff happen, both good and bad, and I’m just ready to move on,” said Rah, who informed Young after completing final exams.
Rah, an AJGA All-American from Torrance, Calif., will play in the Arizona Silver Belle later this month and is unsure of her plans after that. College golf, however, is not an option.
“No chance,” she said.
Rah tied for sixth at the Duramed Futures Q-School in November to earn full status on that tour.
The Cowgirls finished the fall semester ranked 23rd by Golfweek. Rah has been riddled with injuries the past several years but feels fairly healthy these days. She completed her first semester ranked No. 103. The Cowgirls now have five freshmen and one sophomore on their roster.
