Martin maintains lead in South Africa
PAARL, South Africa – Spain’s Pablo Martin remained in position for his second straight victory, shooting an even-par 72 on Saturday in the South African Open to take a one-stroke lead over Italy’s Edoardo Molinari.
Martin, the 23-year-old former Oklahoma State star who won the Alfred Dunhill on Sunday at Leopard Creek, was 11 under after three rounds at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Pearl Valley. Molinari had a 69 in the event sanctioned by the European and Sunshine tours.
