Player of the Week: Alexis Thompson
Alexis Thompson, of Coral Springs, Fla., shot an even-par 280 (71-72-66-71) at the Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, Fla., to win the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship by two shots.
Thompson, 14, is the top-ranked girl in the Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings. She won her first AJGA invitational in November at the Polo Golf Junior Classic.
