Nike recruits Lovemark for Tour staff

Nike Golf has added former University of Southern California (USC) star Jamie Lovemark to its Tour staff. Lovemark committed to a multi-year agreement that calls for him to use the company’s full line of equipment, apparel and footwear.
Lovemark, from Rancho Santa Fe, California, won the 2007 NCAA Championship and was named the 2007 National Player of the Year and National Freshman of the Year. In the 2007 Walker Cup, he was undefeated with a 3-0 record. Lovemark also won the 2005 Western Amateur when he was 17.
Lovemark has competed in eight PGA Tour events and made the cut in five of them. His best finish was tied for 39th at the 2007 Buick Invitational. He also competed in three Nationwide Tour events and recorded his best finish when he placed second at the 2007 Showdown at Somerby in Rochester, Minn.
At the RBC Canadian Open, Lovemark was expected to use the following: SQ Sumo 5000 driver, SQ2 3-wood (13-degree) fairway wood, Victory Red Forged TW blades (3-PW), Victory Red Forged wedges (52, 56, 60 degree) and One Tour D ball.
