Last day to be long at Melwood

The Nationwide Tour will play 36 holes Sunday to complete the Melwood Prince George’s County Open. Bad weather delayed the completion of the first and second rounds until Saturday.

Play was suspended midway through the first round Thursday and did not restart until Saturday morning. Hopefully players rested during the rain delays. Many have 36 holes of U.S. Open sectional qualifying on Monday.

That’s right. Seventy-two holes in 48 hours. My feet hurt just thinking about it.
