JEFF BABINEAU

Best Bet: David Toms

Two-time winner in Memphis who is very much at home at TPC Southwind. About time he gets back to his winning ways, don't you think?

Ace Up My Sleeve: Fredrik Jacobson

I'm going with a good combo pick here. Very solid record at St. Jude (four top 20s, including three top 10s, in last six years) and departed the Texas Swing with his game in pretty good shape.

Last Week's Best Bet: Geoff Ogilvy (T-10)

Last Week's Ace: Matt Kuchar (T-5)

Standing: 1st

JIM MCCABE

Best Bet: Justin Leonard

My other thought was to go with David Toms, but had Nick Price entered, I'd have considered him, too. In other words, here's to the "horses for courses" theory and you can't go wrong with Leonard. Two wins, five top 10s. Pretty blue-chip, if you ask me.

Ace Up My Sleeve: John Senden

Anytime you come in second in a 9-for-1 U.S. Open qualifying playoff – as Senden did in a Monday twilight – you deserve a lot of love.

Last Week's Best Bet: Jim Furyk (2)

Last Week's Ace: Stewart Cink (T-8)

Standing: 2nd

SEAN MARTIN

Best Bet: David Toms

It was almost impossible to pick between David Toms and Justin Leonard, but I finally went with Toms. Both are playing well, and both have tremendous records at TPC Southwind (Toms has finished in the top four in five of the past seven years, including two victories).

Ace Up My Sleeve: Jason Day

Day has tons of potential and may be starting to realize it. He has a runner-up finish in Puerto Rico, finished one shot out of the playoff at Colonial and was tied for 27th at Memorial after a first-round 67. He's been making appearances on more leaderboards. I hope he stays on the board all week in Memphis.

Last Week's Best Bet: Tiger Woods (Won)

Last Week's Ace: Ben Curtis (T-41)

Standing: 3rd

ERIC SODERSTROM

Best Bet: Henrik Stenson

Guy rarely plays bad in the States, his worst finish in over a year being the time he wound up in his skivvies. But look what happened when he kept his clothes on at the Players.

Ace Up My Sleeve: Dustin Johnson

Playing very well (T-24 at Valero, T-4 at Byron Nelson, T-14 at Memorial). That’s my reasoning.

Last Week's Best Bet: Jim Furyk (2)

Last Week's Ace: Vijay Singh (MC)

Standing: 4th

LANCE RINGLER

Best Bet: Robert Allenby

Not a very strong field this week and Garcia and Mickelson headline the field, but look at Robert Allenby. Allenby has a good past with this event posting four top 20s in six starts.

Ace Up My Sleeve: Michael Letzig

Michael Letzig has played well this year, making it to the weekend 14 of 15 times. And last week at The Memorial he played well where he was other guy in the final pairing with Tiger Woods. That experience will help him in Memphis to once again challenge on the weekend.

Last Week's Best Bet: Jim Furyk (2)

Last Week's Ace: Vijay Singh (MC)

Standing: 6th

JEFF RUDE

Best Bet: Justin Leonard

Defending champion T-13, T-16 and T-5 in last three starts.

Ace Up My Sleeve: Matt Kuchar

Confidence soaring after being British Open and U.S. Open qualifying medalist and T-5 at Memorial.

Last Week's Best Bet: Tiger Woods (Won)

Last Week's Ace: Vijay Singh (MC)

Standing: 7th

ALEX MICELI

Best Bet: Padraig Harrington

Ace Up My Sleeve: David Duval

Last Week's Best Bet: Kenny Perry (T-27)

Last Week's Ace: Vijay Singh (MC)

Standing: 5th

Golfweek.com’s Fantasy Aces are better than ever. We’ve made some changes for 2009 to make the Aces even more useful.

More experts: Golfweek editor Jeff Babineau, senior writers Jim McCabe, Jeff Rude and Alex Miceli have been added to the mix.

More picks: You won’t see the same names here every week. Each of the seven Aces can only pick a player seven times throughout the year.

More at stake: We’ll keep track of how much money each Aces’ picks make, and update the standings each week so you know who to listen to.
