Better be long at Bethpage
I’m not sure how many players have a chance to win next week’s U.S. Open at Bethpage Black. Maybe 20. Maybe 10. Maybe one.
I do know this: I talked with Peter Kostis on Tuesday right after he left Bethpage, which he visited with student Paul Casey for a practice round. And the picture Kostis painted doesn’t augur well for non-bombers.
