Standford relishes media time

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. – It’s usually pretty obvious which players view early-week media obligations as drudgery, and which ones don’t mind a brief chat. Angela Stanford isn’t a regular on the pre-tournament interview schedule. That is, unless she won the week before.
Stanford’s label as one of the hottest American players on tour, however, earned her a trip to the hot seat on Wednesday at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship, and she was as candid as ever.
“If you’re in the media center, you’re doing something right,” Stanford said. “I love talking to the media. But, again, that comes from many years of not talking to the media.”
Exactly. We're not so bad.
