Kristina Wong continues to roll through the Women's Western Amateur.

Wong, 18, notched two match-play wins to reach the quarterfinals of the Women's Western. She outlasted Thuhashini Selvaratnam in 20 holes and posted a convincing 3-and-2 win over Chihiro Ikeda in the round of 16 to close out her day.

Wong, a semifinalist at the U.S. Girls' Junior in 2008, has notched one AJGA win and will attend Stanford in the fall.

Another advancer to the quarerfinals was Pepperdine rising junior Taylore Karle. She advanced with a 5-and-4 win over Louise Manalo.
