It's in the hole
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – There’s a pretty healthy breeze here at PGA National today, which makes Ben Crane’s swipe at the fifth hole even more impressive.
The guy aced the 162-yard par 3. Not that impressive, you say? Well, the pin is only four paces from a pond that fronts the green.
It’s the second hole-in-one of Crane’s career. He also made one in 2006 at the Accenture Match Play.
Come to think of it, when I played PGA National last November, my tee ball found the drink at the fifth, and I’m pretty sure I made double bogey.
