• Historically, we have all come to realize that the Blonde and Brunette have always had a hidden rivalry. The media have always portrayed these two as secret bitter enemies; whether it is Angelina and Jen, Marilyn and Audrey, or Betty and Veronica, there always seems to be a competition. Agreed?
So, with all due respect, we believe it is our duty to continue the tradition and add a little more fuel to this fire by telling you about the hottest competition to hit the fairways.
Just when we thought that blondes had more fun and all jaws were dropped at the Natalie Gulbis’ of the ladies tour, a new girl hits Golfweeker’s by storm and her long luscious locks are something to write home about.
Say hello to Maria Verchenova!
We know, we know... she kind of sounds a tad like the tennis player Maria Sharapova, and you’re right! Verchenova is yet another beautiful Russian phenom to hit the sports world by storm; and we thank our fellow Soviet’s everyday for it.
Verchenova is the first Russian to become a full-time member of the Ladies European Tour, her best finish a T-5 at last year’s Tenerife Ladies Open – and we expect to see a lot more from this Russian beauty.
So to conclude our theory – blondes don’t just get to have all the fun. However, the competition is on and we can wait to keep you in the loop!
